The Academy maintains formal academic records for each student in accordance with South Carolina law and institutional best practice.
Zadorozhnyy Academy operates as a home educational program under South Carolina Code of Laws §59-65-47. This statute recognizes home educational programs supervised by an approved third-party accountability association as legally sufficient to satisfy the compulsory attendance requirements of the state. The Academy maintains active membership in an approved South Carolina home school accountability association.
The Academy maintains attendance records documenting a minimum of 180 instructional days per academic year, as required by state statute. Attendance is recorded daily and totaled by semester.
Formal report cards are issued at the close of each semester documenting subjects studied, grades earned, and progress against grade-level expectations. Report cards are retained in each student's permanent academic file.
Representative samples of student work are preserved for each subject and grade level, providing tangible evidence of academic progression and mastery of curricular objectives.
Formal promotion from one grade to the next is documented upon satisfactory completion of the academic year and demonstrated proficiency in the required curriculum.
Cumulative academic records for each student are maintained by the Academy administrator and preserved indefinitely.
The Academy responds to legitimate requests for verification of a student's enrollment, attendance, or academic record. Institutions, organizations, and service providers seeking verification should contact the Academy administrator directly. Written verification of enrollment, transcripts, and character references are issued as requested.
